pro modeler servos
Looking at these new pro modeler servos that are advertised here on FG.
http://www.audacitymodels.com/Produc...V/Default.aspx They look mechanically robust and who wouldn't love those machined cases... I have yet to set up a high voltage system in a plane but these look to be a cost effective servo with brushless motors and titanium gears. But what about resolution and accuracy. I'm using a new Jeti radio that will transmit over 4000 steps resolution. I don't recall, do the servos have to be rated for that? Anybody using these new servos? |

Check the heli pages. You will find a few. The case is made in the USA and assembled here as well. They appear to be reasonably priced when compared to the well know brands.

They are kinda slow tho 0.14-0.12 sec, but they look nice!...that's all that matter right?
Might have to try some in my new 30cc Redwing RC Slick 540. Here is the build log: https://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/...ad.php?t=86668 |

The question with all of these non-mainstream brands is always one of reliability and accuracy. I don't need a servo that wont hold trim. And I'd like to use servos that will take advantage of my radio's high resolution output. |

I went through about 12 pages of heli threads and didn't find anything about these servos.

Wow, those are some pretty impressive specs at a very tolerable price. Please let us know how these perform. They look to have a Hitec spline, which would be good for me as I have a ton of aluminum hitec arms.

Slow for a BLS servo for sure.......I'm use to 0.08-0.10 sec servos, even in my heli's |

The specs say they use a futaba arm. They sound like good servos.

I guess there was a typo...product description says 0.14-0.12 sec, but if you look at the pic, it says 0.11-0.09 sec assuming it is the correct servo in the pic
