These are not glamorous shots, they are not in breathtaking color, heck one isn't even a airplane, but they are the real deal, and over 40 years old, taken by me.

What is the twin in the first pic? That's a sexy (if a bit ungainly) beast!

It is a Dornier DO-28, picture taken at Tan San Nut Air America Terminal in South Vietnam.

Did a quick search and here is a better picture I found on the net.

There were so many Americans that served, with little recognition. See if your dad has any pictures to donate to the thread. I have tons of pictures, but most are on slides. I only hit the big bases coming and going, the rest of the time was in the field.

That could very well be. Those pics were sent to me by a friend so I really don't know anything about them accept what it said in the email.

Like you, I have lots of slides and a few pics. I keep all of those since I inherited from my Grandmother, my mother never did keep them. He was KIA 5/21/67(I was 18mos.) This is one of my favorite pics... There is a provider tail in the background. This may have been Tan Son Nhut
