Do you guys want a build thread on the Shockflyer Superstar. I plan to do a lot of upgrades as far as SFG's and airbrakes. Motor I think is going to be a PJS 300 on 2cell batteries. But I will for sure get the airframe done on the thread. So do you want it?

I going to try under 5 oz. Prime Time's was 5.25 ounces. Got to go get accelerator.

Mine Ikarus Yak came in at 5.2, they fly schweeeeet at that weight

I'd like to see flying wires for tail, wing and fuselage stiffness. I did mine with thread, but the "hardpoints" as such were difficult to make. I ended up just gluing to the foam to save weight but I'm sure there is a better way.

You can make hard points out of 1/64th ply using a paper hole punch. I have done this with the cf attaching to the ply then the foam but next time I think I will try putting the brace though the foam and the hard point on the other side. I think this will make a better connection

For hardpoints you can use snake inners, or instead of flying wires on the fuse you can go with lightened depron gussets. Let's see this thing!
