Don't forget about the new PAU Extra 330LX. https://flypau.com/index.php?main_pa...mug58g311411g7
This airframe is amazing! I do not have a good scale, otherwise I would weigh it before I get started on the assembly. Carbon fiber laminated to the mid-section equipment trays and this one dwarfs the older PAU Extra. I put it next to my buddies 42% Edge and it is almost the same size. It is truly a thing of beauty and I can't wait to get her in the air!

Quick video here shows how nimble it is in the air:

Nice. I just watched a few vid -- didn't know the plane existed. PAU is about 90 minutes down I-4 from me too. One of these days I'll have to take a field trip with some of the boys.

So far i think it is the best flying plane i have had. Tgreen
" the canopy is glued"? What does that mean?

I want to say that PAU aircraft do not have the clear plastic canopy glued onto the hatch deck.

Incorrect: The 100cc Edge 540 Single Seat V2, and the 60cc Edge 540T V2 both have the canopy factory glues to the hatch.
The 100cc Extra 330LX has a one piece molded and painted canopy.

Even with the kits I've built in the past, the canopy bubble and hatch were one molded PETG piece glued to a light frame built from hardwood stringers and two 3mm ply formers. Considering the canopy size difference between the 105" Edge and the new 330LX, I would think this was done to save weight, time, and expense. I know for a fact that finishing the bubble and balsa hatch is a real PIA.

Another very nice scale rendition from PAU. Kudos.

Anyone have any recent issues with Extreme Flight ARF’S?
I just private messaged a gentleman on here selling an EF who stated they are experiencing separation of the Carbon fiber to wood due to a bad batch of bulk purchased glue.

Strange for a guy selling an EF plane to say that. Makes no sense. I'm on most of the EF aerobatic and 3D threads here and on FG and have not heard anything like that. Could be a bad rumor started by the competition.

it's pretty easy to figure out who it was/is by looking at the ads and reading the comments. And I am pretty sure that the same gentlemen has some interest in another company who would be considered a competitor.

I had some carbon delamination of the plywood in my 580, had to CA it back in a couple of places and the first diagonal brace has been epoxied twice.
