Re: Show us your trailer setup pictures

here are a few pix that I just took tonight . I have the full size cooler out of the trailer that belongs by the little folding table , along the front wall , and I have the 35% Krill out of the trailer , working on it .. ready to roll ...

so that 2-40%ers on the bottom , and three 35%ers and a 30%er on the top shelf ..missing the 35%er that is on the bench..

Here's mine. 6 X 12 V nose. Built in front workbench and shelves. Currently able to haul one 42% 260, one 35% Yak, and one 30% Yak and a couple of small planes. I am so glad that I got this one with a torsion bar suspension on it. Very smooth ride. A couple of pictures of my home built brackets that are similar to what I've seen like Gear legs. These are just hinges and hasps I purchased at Lowes and welded them together. Since putting them on I have had virtually no movements with the planes.

Re: Show us your trailer setup pictures

Guess I should have started with these first. Painted the walls white, Killz first then white enamel second coat. Ran 12 volt system to the rear so I can charge from four areas of the rear. Have 120 volt line ran up front that ties in shore power into a charging system for the battery feeding the 12 volt system. I also have a 4,000 watt converter up front that will convert 12 volts into 120 volts. A little messy on the last couple of shots but was at the flying field and just took a few quick shots. Next trip out I'll try to remember to take some new shots with the trailer loaded up.

Okay, I've been following this tread long enough that I've just traded up for the second time since it's inception. My first rig was a 5x10 Wells Cargo, the second was a 6x12 DCT, and now I just picked this up yesterday at the factory in Midlebury, IN. It's an 8.5x27, white finished walls and ceiling, generator door, 48" RV door curbside with window.

Now the fun of rigging it out begins and this thread has given me lots of great ideas

We got to get you a Carden shirt for when you are flying that Carden in your Avatar. lol

You'll have a sweet setup once you are done with that trailer.

walkert122

I see that you are from ankeny. I used to go to the expo at ankeny when it was going strong. Is the field gone now or is it still being used by some club?

Another fine event gone!

Nice Rig...Lots of room to play in!

LOL.......... not being a heli guy, I had no idea what a HeliMax Novus was. Looking at the trailer I had visions of some huge turbine scale heli's. Google'd it and now I get the joke.

Ya got me

Cheers,
Dave
