I see that. I wonder how long before the orange one will be in stock. I also wonder when the 125” version will be out.

That is a great looking plane. I really like all of the carbon in there. What radio system will you be running. I’ve always heard that carbon fiber can cause issues with some radios. Not sure how true that is though.

I fly Spektrum and use Powersafe receivers in everything larger than 35cc, no problems at all with the radio systems with these planes.

fuselages that are encased in cf, such as what is seen in the glider world have been problematic, and why spektrum came out with a special receiver for those installs. but for us noise makers it is a non issue.

I couldn't wait for the V2 so I just bought my second 104 Extra - this one is blue, like papacraigs avatar!

The carbon in these new airframes will not cause any issues with radio communication. If you look closely there are no solid "sheets" to block signal. its basically like pouring water through a chain link fence.
On the same line of thought, I recently watched a young man fly his quad FPV while leaning against his car. He had his Tx at about zipper height of his pants, he then proceeded to fly his quad on the other side of his car and continued out about 800-1000' away!

...seriously, there's no issues with RF communication in these airframes. We use standard Spektrum Powersafe Rx's in all our 75" airframes and up. Including the airframes that are "loaded with carbon fiber"

You definitely can’t go wrong with that plane. It’s still one of the best flying planes around. I finally got my radio installed and just have a few finishing touches to finishes up the one I’m building right now. Unfortunately dumb thumb took my last one😢 but that’s all part of flying.
