There are a lot of orphaned DA-150s out there.. A really good 150 powered airplane is absolutely IMAC competitive in all classes.

I recommend that you look at the cowl mounting method on the 104 EF Extra.

Also, either ship absolutely zero hardware or ship amazing hardware. I hate paying for crappy hardware that I just put in the trash bin.

What about ordering a few in solid one color like white or red or yellow and let people put on custom scheme

Glad to see you back into the model business. I think that judging by the response to this thread, you have a ready made clientele based on your reputation.

Still got my Mustang.....

Full agreement here. I'd much rather buy my own hardware because then I'm never guessing if the supplied stuff will be usable or not.

The solid color thing has been done by a lot of companies over the years, all of them have the same results; the planes dont sell. The cost for a solid color would be the same as the normal ARF scheme, and when faced with the choice, customers would rather just throw on a custom decal package to personalize the plane.

I do plan to offer ARCís BUT they will be special order only with a 50% non-refundable deposit, itís too much of a risk to take up space on a container for an airplane that may sit on the shelves for a year

Weíll be using the standard glue in double truss control horns. I was never a fan of the steel control horns either.

Everything shipped with the plane will be the highest quality hardware I can get. I hate replacing hardware and would not expect my customers to feel the need to do so.
