25% or 30%

Its time to build a gasser. Which should i do 30cc or 50cc. from my research its either 3dhs or pilot. but im stuck on size. I guess what im asking is it worth the extra cash to go 50cc.

Get the 30% 50cc,especially if you have the room to haul it. It's not much more cash.Your going to have a little more in the engine and airframe, but thats about it.My .02 cents

Or, split the difference and get an EF 78" Extra with a Mintor 38. Best of both worlds

Yea the 30cc planes fly nice, but the 50cc planes fly AWESOME. They are big enough that they really present well, and float.
I sometimes think there is no reason to go bigger than 50cc because they fly so well.
(But then I see a nice 40%er and it changes my mind quickly! )

BEST PLANE EVER.
I have owned the 89" Slick and the 87" SHP, SHP is a much better overall plane. Does everything perfectly. Slick is awesome... but the SHP is just better.

I've also owned the 89" slick and flown my friends 87" SHP a LOT. Both planes rock. But I've moved to Pilot RC they are awesome flying and built light & strong. The hardware is on par with the 3DHS but they are a less $$ both for airframe & shipping. Chief carries them, Pilot sells them directly, and I bought mine from Razor Hobbies, great place to work with & they had combo deals and free shipping.

Pilot has a FAR bigger selection than 3DHS with FAR more color schemes in each plane,You won't regret a Pilot plane.

Lol... this is true. However, after awhile they (women) will want something larger, so just plane on getting a 100cc in the future!
