Make a list of only parts you know you will always have a stock of and offer only them as part of the unique customizing package or you'll have some customers wanting parts you dont have but feel compeled to aquire to secure a sale and you Doc will be doing all the running around whilst the business crumbles into a mess around you.

Keep it simple.
Offer a good selection if you can.
Make sure you have what you offer always in stock and leave it up to the customer to pick from your list.
Start off slowly and concentrate on the models quality, shipping etc and it will sell itself without trying too hard to attract the customer.
There's always the opportunity to expand at a later date once your established.

Gentlemen, Have taken order advances into account and have changed policy on that after your comments, and will have something ready for you after I meet doc on the 12th of this month.

I could be wrong but it sounds to me that Baj rescued the company. If so, Baj corrected the problem in a few weeks that Doc could not do in two years. It is a pleasure knowing and flying next to Baj. Lets us be clear here. Baj got you your planes. Baj, it will be nice to see you back here in the U.S.A.

Looks pretty clear to me. I never asked him to be one of my FG friends for nothing. He is a good person with strong integrity, all it took was a few online chats on the forums to see that.

Let's not be too quick to discount Doc in all of this... without his vision, his dream, his persistance, there would be nothing for Baj to "step in and save".

That said I appreciate Doc's drive and talent and Baj's selflessness and passion for the hobby. I am happy to have them both on my friends list!

I must agree with you about Doc's persistence. Most would have given up and folded long ago.

I spent all evening looking for Forth of July celebrations and fireworks in the direction of Idaho and I didn't see a thing.

Nope... but my girfriends new plane showed up last night so she was happy. She's been flying for about a month now and is taking to it rather quickly so I bought her a SIG Rascal 110 and ptr 36 gas engine for it. You all think that will work for a second airplane?

As for my Sbach, I stopped holding my breath over two years ago but I still have faith that someday...
