Quick-release fittings, like the Secraft ones

They are not for solid rods I do not believe, only pull/pull wires....

That is why I like the servos in the fus. It's simple, strong, easy. Even if they go with a different airfoil as said for the stab that could accommodate a servo in the stab, I would not care as long as it is strong.

I'm assuming the horizontal stabs are removable. If they aren't then having the elevator servos in the fuselage wouldn't be a problem. However, many people would have trouble transporting a 50cc sized planes with fixed horizontal stabs.

Having the servos in the stab isn't because of looks, at least not for me. I wouldn't like having to reconnect the elevator linkages each time I assembled the plane. If there were some sort of quick release mechanism, that would do the trick.

Awesome looking

It has a great color scheme. I know two guys in NC including myself waiting for one. I hope A.J does this scheme on the 120CC version.

Looks like a horizontal stab from a FLY MODEL Co. plane.

The only real departure from scale is the wingspan increased slightly and yeah that is to give it the performance AJ is looking for.
could be, but then again, the first rc model is dang near exactly scale to the full size.

If AJ could raise the horizontal stabs closer to the top of the fuse, and elongate the rudder to be more cap like, then that would go a loong way to differentiate his example of the ARS300 from the normal aerobats produced these days.

Fyi, I'm in no way bashing AJ's kit. I think he will have a great seller on his hands. Its unique to the stateside vendors. It was mentioned by a few that the ARS300 had never been modeled before which was incorrect. So if AJ is going to come out with another example, I'd be all over one if it really looked like the ARS300 and not just a slick/edge with a slightly capish rudder. This is just my opinion as a consumer.

Comparing the two they look extremely similar. But I can guarantee you that AJ's plane will not have the same coupling issues as the one above. I guess it depends what you are going for accuracy or flight characteristics.

By the way I love the colors on the AJ ARS300!!!!
