Got a visit from MoJo Aviation yesterday. Mark Owen and his lovely bride Vicky were passing by so we went to a beach side restaurant and had lunch.

That is Mark and Vicky on the left and me and the family on the right.

I had a great time!

I agree 100% . At 11mpg its not worth the $80k price tag

Yep. Once upon a time, when diesel was dirt cheap, and if you planned on driving the vehicle into the ground with a million miles on it then the extra cost of the initial pay out for the diesel option was recouped in superior mileage with cheap fuel. You win. That scenario is history considering the cost of diesel.

If you know anyone who opts for diesel and trades the truck in @ 40K? He's a man of great means and a world shaker because money means very little to him.

The reliability of a diesel over gas above the 250K mark, in a fleet or work vehicle is the only 'reason' left for owning a diesel. Aside maybe the fact all your 19 year old buds think you're bad assed for 'rolling coal' and pretending you're a bad assed trucker dude. Meh, that's a reason, if you're 19.

Hey Rich, do you have two good looking wives? Seems like there are always two blondes with you everywhere you go.

So, what's Jolanta's situation? Asking for a friend.

Yeah , with the higher costs in maintenance, the higher prive for diesel , and the added expense when you purchase the truck , I'll pass . It was nice to actually see for myself , instead of listening to al the diesel bs
