Sand paper and primer can do amazing things you know,I d hold.off on the tums for a while.


Question #1 exactly wich factory are these coming from,well I just noticed the shipping container is marked China and.it is wooden, They ones from the other Comp company are craboard and say Made in Thailand.
If my geography is correct that a ocean away from China.

Okay so I went,Idid I went to the non functional.website and it just left me confused and a bit baffeld.They claim some afdiliation and constituents with ,Composite Arf, Krill Models,and 3w.
And many features of the site do not appear to be functional ,like the kits menu.

BTW.. my 40% CARF plane came in a wooden crate exactly like the ones in those pictures... but I think you are right... it was made in Tailand. I have another one on order now.. the 3M 330SC... that's why this thread caught my eye. Rumor has it that CARF was going to make a 100cc size 330SC also, but no one's seen anything yet.

Hey Reyn, I m dreamin about the Carf Mx2 actualy or another edge.
Steven Nelson just finished building new Carf extra he says he loves it.So it should one super solid plane if he likes it that well.
I am working on a eg aircraft 100cc mx2 and this wooden kit has chased me right back over to a compisite kit, soon as I am finished with it.

I spoke with this company a few weeks ago about thier SBach. I never went ahead with it because by the time it got landed here, I could get a Comp-ARF SuperExtra delivered to me through the local dealers for about $100 more. I can also get a Pilot RC plane delivered to me (direct from the factory now - as there is no longer a local dealer) for a heck of a lot less.

Let me think about this now.
I had the chance to mess with some Xtreme Composites airframes that just flew really badly, I tried some RC League / Blazing Wings (smae manufacturer) Composites that flew even worse (call those lessons learnt). I can get a proven CompARF or one of these "unknowns" for about the same price or I can save significant $$$ and buy a number of different proven builtups for a lot less

I am going the Comp ARF route - in this size plane with these dollars invested, why not get proven and durable?

Back to the THMX "Fantasy RC" planes - Yep - it's new & "colorful" (so is a good vomit whilst it is fresh) - I bet they sell like hotcakes out there.

Am I the only one that has noticed how many "new" items are being offered through Taiwan now? I guess "Taiwan" is the new marketing tool for the Chinese seeing as their reputation has taken a bit of a beating.
