Contest
Pattern By the Bay 2011, 4/30 - 5/1/2011, Richmond, CA

This is a mirror of a post on RCG - just trying to get the word out:

QUOTE-
"Have you ever try combining a pattern contest & vacationing at the same time? If not, then you owe it to yourself to attend our Richmond contest on April 30th & May 1st. Derek Koopowitz & Adrian Wong are proud to present the “Pattern by the Bay Contest”.

Our club BARCS – Bay Area Radio Control Society – is located next to the San Francisco bay.

3155 Goodrick Ave, Richmond, CA. 94801 for Mapquest/Yahoo Maps or GPS

GPS Coordinates are: 37°58'56.96"N and 122°21'46.57"W

6 rounds of AMA/ FAI will be flown. For FAI, 4 rounds of P-11 & 2 rounds of F-11 will be flown with the best 3 of P-11 & the best F round to total up for the final score.

The field will be available for practice on Friday after 11:00 am. Come early to practice, then take your wife or girlfriend for a sumptuous meal, & shopping in the beautiful down town San Francisco.

Contest flyer will be added to the NSRCA District 7 page shortly.

Some clarification respecting FAI:

FAI pilot will have the options of either flying all 6 rounds of P, or, 4 rounds of P & two rounds of F. However, the last two rounds will be normalized with the F's K-factor.

Again, the best 3 of P and the best 1 of F will count.

For more info, please contact either CD Derek Koopowitz – derekkoopowitz@gmail.com, or, Adrian Wong – adriancwong@earthlink.net

Adrian"
