I just went on the Tower site with no problems. It said I needed to reset my pw. The link to do so was sent immediately. I reset it and logged into the site. I did not find it hard to navigate at all, just different. It says the easy pay option is temporarily unavailable. I don't like that my order history is gone.

As the saying goes... All good things must come to past, and it has certainly rang true with Horizon Hobby. What a shame.

I put my email in, clink the reset password button but it never sends me a new password, just keep sending me the same link to reset password.

Way to take a stand guys, proud of you. You don't like a website where you buy toys? I hope you have bigger problems than that to cry about.

Who was it that drove a decades old business into the ground and stole the employees retirement? Oh that's right, Tower/Hobbico. If Horizon wants to make some changes so that they can stay around, that's their option.

Larry.. May I remind you that Tower (as is American Airlines) was employee owned (it was all over the place).. the difference was that Tower had excellent service and American doesn't....
I don't buy toys.. the same way that my hand-made watch collection are not toys. Agree that HH can do what they want, but good business sense is to appeal to your customer base and not alienate said customer base.

The email will not contain a new password. The link in the email is to take you back to their site and to enter a new password yourself and then confirm the new password by typing it in again. You need to create it, not HH/Tower. You can't use your previous one, by the way.

Note: they want higher complexity passwords now of at least 8 characters length, so you need upper case and lower case letters, a number, and at least one symbol like @#$%^&

Understand, but its just taking me back to the original reset password page where it asks for your email address to send the password reset link.

Tell me about it. Not just the browsable categories gone, the loss of all the tech notes is a disaster.

ugh.

I see tools, building supply, fuel etc are slowly being dropped from inventory. Soon it will be all e-flight foamies. yuck.

I just tried to place an order with them.
Paypal still not available and no international shipping.
On my last big order with them I used a Miami freight forwarder with no problems, now they don't want my credit card.

It's like they WANT to die. I cannot understand this new "business model" and web page.

I was looking at a Futaba radio and the description is pretty vague. There isn't even a link to the manual to see exactly what the features are that come with the radio. Not impressed. On another note, I've been collecting Tower Hobbies Catalogs and have them from 2018 (last issue) back to 1975. I love looking through them once in awhile Like a walk back in time.

How about the annoying e-mail pop up every time you go to the page. Still there even after I filled it out.
