why did i get a email telling me i had a new private message? anyone else had this happen?

Thanks Jason, you know i got to thinking about it and its all old messages from people i talked to but i don't think i ever received the emails for the PMS before. its like its now catching up sending me the notices i never got.

I got about a dozen notices myself of private messages.

ditto, I get the same four or five emails several times a day for the last few days telling me I have PMs. I deleted all my received and sent PMs to see if that had anything to do with it, it didn't help. Still getting them. Very annoying

It's just catching up from past notifications there were never sent. It should get caught up and stop and then it will be back to normal.
