Aeroworks 100cc extra 300 QB cg

Aeroworks wants the cg at 4 1/4” I used two different cg calculators and they both said 7 1/4”. I have added lbs to the front and still can’t get close to 4 1/4”. How far back can I put the cg on this plane? Is the Aeroworks 4 1/4” cg a misprint? Should I trust the cg calculator ?

Are you measuring at the wing root or the wing tip?

I did it at the wing tip and it measured the same as the cg calculator. I will never forget that on a tapered wing. I new it was not right but could not figure it out Thank You very much.

Don't forget, it is not the wing, it is where the manufacturer says to measure at for the cg.

You can balance it at the center of the wing tube as a good start point

I found center to forward edge of the wingtube was good on most Aeroworks 100cc planes....that was for an IMAC neutral type setting. Middle wingtube was better for 3D
