How's it compare to the Tundra? I ordered a Tundra a couple weeks ago but still waiting for it to come. Have a camping trip planned so it should be fun to fly it off the water in the evening.

Hard to compare. Two very different sizes. But the gyros make it flies pretty dang good!

I've been flying one for a few weeks now. First flights were without the slats and it flew good.

I installed the slats and was able to slow it down even more before stalling. It still flew well in knife-edge flight and inverted.

Flew it at night a few times and the led's are bright enough .

I haven't installed the floats yet and I'm wondering how well it will handle turns on the water without a water rudder. I know the UMX Carbon Cub was terrible trying to turn on the water especially in a little breeze.

How much do the slats slow the roll rate on this umx? I have yet to install them because it's so much fun without.

It does fine on floats. But turns like you'd expect with no water rudders.

UMX Timber on FLOATS! (5 min 43 sec)

Mine still rolls great.

UMX Timber Night Flying! (4 min 58 sec)
