This is like building a better mouse trap. Lots of people have tried but there is nothing wrong with the original, they work, they teach coordination, and before you become coordinated they teach the art of swearing....

I have been in this hobby for many a year and I can fix all of the clunk problems this tank is supposed to solve with a short section of brass tubing.

KenSue is just trying to get the word out about these tanks. Since he has only been flying for one year I do not hold it against him that there are a few tricks to correctly assembling a traditional clunk tank he has yet to learn. I am surprised that he shows a glow tank in his airplane with no vibration isolation, in fact in the video you can see air bubbles rising up the right side of the tank as the engine is run up to higher RPMs.

I would like to see one of these tanks in person just to check it out tough.

Questions regarding who I work for...and an answer.

To answer your question. No I don't work for the company. Just saw a new product, tried it out and liked it. Yeah, the post is little long. But I don't type like a technician (because I'm not one), with a bunch of boring specs. Just an ordinary every day flyer. Oh well, it got enough of your attention to start you typing. For the rest of you, who may be actually be interested, I hope you find the post informative...and helpful.

Ken Sue, Thanks for taking the time and making the effort on this product. If your new to posting or reading on these web sites, don't be discouraged by the negativity. It usually takes a while before a thread is hijacked by the idiots. You just have to remember that there are those reading your thread that are interested in the content and that will benefit from your effort.

Thank you Flybye Steve, Spridal and the others too. It's all good, I'm a little too old to worry about what others think. All I did was a little work, and enjoyed the challenge. I don't expect for everybody to like it (or for those people to like anything else, for that matter). I enjoy the hobby. And, I look forward to the next challenge. Thank you Philkoury, for the knowledge you passed along. It's all about learning. I hope that the information I posted is helpful for somebody.

Are you planning to attend any of the local fly ins? If you are going to be at the Pine Belt Spring Fly in in Purvis I would like to get a look at one of these tanks.

Hey, Philkoury. Yes, I'll be at the Pinebelt Fly In (April 7th), and at the Saucier Fly In (June 16th). I'll have 02 planes with the tank, I just put one in my Ugly Stick and I'm putting one in the Ultra Sport kit I just received. The April issue, of the AMA Magazine, has a good review. It also has a good cut-a-way photo (page 17).
