Release date 120" Turbo Bushmaster?

I watched this plane fly at Joe Nall and was quite impressed, but did not inquire about it then.

Does anyone know the anticipated release date? Or the estimated cost? 'm assuming it will be coming at some point?

Thanks.

Hopefully someone from EF will chime in, but I recall seeing a comment that it would be out sometime around the end of the year. Maybe my Christmas present to myself

I have my own guess on price; hope it comes in under my guess

Next arriving container will have what should be the final pre-production sample which will be built out with a DA-70 and 2-into-1 header/canister. As soon as we get it flying and beat on it for a while production will begin. We are shooting for a 2017 release if all goes as planned.

No issues with fuselage strength, just the wing strut mount, easy fix.

Thanks for the info, Chris. A DA70 on canister would also sound pretty nice; I'm still a little torn on whether I'd go electric or gas. A 12S 66--7400mah setup (2S/2P) would probably get me the flight times I'd want, with great power, but a gasser with canister would be good power, excellent flight times, and more economical in the long run...

Choices, choices

I run a DA 70 with a two into one can in my EF MXS, it makes great power with a nice quiet sound.

Mine will be turbo prop powered if at all possible
Hoping the strut attach is as painless as possible.

I was fortunate enough to fly the prototype at Nall this past May. It had the XPwr 60 and was so much fun to fly, this plane is going to put smiles on many faces.

This plane is definitely going to be a popular one, I check regularly for updates, so thanks Chris for this update. I will be standing by ready to push the add to cart button. Hopefully floats will be an option in the near future as well.

55 will definitely fly it. Wouldn't bet that it would hover or anything but with how light the wing loading is and how well it flies I imagine you'd still have a blast.
