Any FG users flying 3D in Western Indianapolis? I just recently moved here and have found a couple clubs but no one has been going out to fly. Guess they are still waiting for the cold weather to fully go away.

I fly a couple of 30%ers in town. What area of Indianapolis are you guys interested in?
The two primary local fields I fly at listed under my screen name but familiar with many clubs in the area.
Been cold and damp at most local fields.
A few of us flying at the AMA until it dries out.

The closest fields to me are the Screaming Eagles field and the Black Sheep RC club in Danville

Black Sheep club is very active and a great group of guys. One patch of trees in a less than ideal spot but otherwise great club.

I'm not as familiar with Screaming Eagles - flew there once but odd being inside prison ground but very welcoming folks.

You are welcome to come out to the Blacksheep field to see if it meets your needs. We have all manner of aircraft represented. Our March meeting is tonight at 7PM at the field if you can make it.

Ok cool! I got called to work today so I won’t be able to make the meeting but I plan to be out there to meet some people soon. Don’t have any planes with me at the moment but I hope to soon.

as long as you fly south of the runway the is no problem I fly a 40% all the time no problem check website or facebook page or contact me here I will meet you iam always ready to go

I know it is a little ways, but not too far over to Muncie to fly at the AMA headquarters.... I know there are a bunch of folks that go out there pretty regularly. Giant Scale, IMAC, etc.

do you half to be a club member to fly there? or just show up been flying for years and have never been there but plan on it

You only need to be an AMA member to fly at the headquarters - there is no additional local club membership required.

Probably not much flying tomorrow for me. We're replacing the geotextile runway at IndyWestrc.org club. Hopefully can chrtisten with a flight or two after the work is done.
