It is that time of year again!

Announcing the 2019 Colorado Judging School. All are welcome.

This year we are doing things a bit different. On Friday I am inviting everyone out to a local field to work on the basics of IMAC flying. All classes and pilots are welcome.

Some of the things we will discuss on Friday:
(I will take my "Judging hat" off and help you get the best score possible)
1) What to expect at a contest
2) What is a legal airplane
3) What are some of the "tricks" in airplane setup to improve scores
4) How to Fly the Sequence (Basic and Sportsman will be covered)
5) Demo Flights for both Sportsman and Basic
6) Coaching of Pilots
7) How to take a "smaller" deduction for major errors


On Saturday we will have a full day diving into the rules and any questions about Judging will be answered.
(I will put my "Judging hat" on and show you how to catch the subtleties that were discussed on Friday)

Sunday will be Practicing what we went over in the class. We will also tentatively have some FREESTYLE to judge (if your interested in flying either precision or freestyle PM me your information)

Redbooks can be purchased. Please let me know at least 3 weeks in advance.

$10 for a Redbook with a Binder
$5 for the insert (Printed pages pre hole-punched to go in your binder)

Location?

Denver, Colorado. I have not picked a specific location for either the classroom or the field portion. Most likely I will do it on the north end of Denver. I am waiting a few weeks to see interest and have it closer to the participants.

Didnt get your post notification either. Also did not get a PM notification. Would be nice if they could get the forum working the same as it did before all of these "new Features" were added.

Sorry to hear that, judging Is so important

It's a pity that the competition was canceled. Perhaps not everyone had the opportunity to come to Denver. And for those who want to gain new knowledge such schools are important.
