I would like to add that if you have a RC Car or truck your welcome to bring it. They actually have a nice dirt track there to race them. Would be something to do after hours.

My family and I will be down Thursday eve. or Friday morn.
I am planning on flying with Wayne on Thursday at his field if I can get someone to drag my trailer in there. If not I will be at the field Thursday. Will someone be there all day Thursday?

I will be attempting to fly the Big 260, I have worked on throttle management and hope I can keep it at a moderate tone. We are looking forward to seeing the SE gang.
I think you are doing a fine job and don't worry about the extra charges,
it is still alot cheaper than the cost to go to Fl.

Field will be open Thursday after lunch. We might still be setting up tents then but field is open in the afternoon. Friday the field is open all day. Glad you can make it down!

As of right now I'm planning on working 4 10 hour days next week to get my 40 in by Thursday so I can take Friday off So we should be able to come on down early Friday and get some flying in Friday afternoon . BTW Jimmy said he was coming with us also ,,,,,,,,, guess we we have to wait and see .

I was looking forward to trying to make it to this contest as it's about 5 minutes from my apartment! Unfortunately I have a 4 day trip starting friday at 8:30 am extending over the weekend so I guess work won't be allowing me to attend. Hope to see you guy's around soon and maybe when I get my stuff up here from Ocala I'll ride up to do some flying with wayne, joe, etc... If yall don't mind flying on weekday's or something, lol. I was just on another thread and there was a suggestion to do freestyle on sat. eve. Is this a remote possibility for you?

They are voting on whether or not freestyle should be dropped from Imac.

Good news. or bad news, the F&G poll, is nothing more than a poll.. i heard a rumor last night that some guys think that if the poll swings one way or the other..the poll would be the gospel....Wrong!!!
However i do like the idea of saturday evenings , sounds like a nice change, and perhaps a benefit to the long distance travelers, however there's still a gap in the final score tabulation on sundays post unknowns etc... every contest is always different based on variable elements. Hapy Easter Guys!!

Mike I didnt have time this morning to read the thread fully yet. I will this afternoon. But I will look into it. I am not sure yet. I for one would like to have it on Saturdays for traveling.
