I want to use the batshare with two LIFE batteries to power my Futaba 14 channel R7014SB receiver. The batshare has two leads coming off but I only have one power input on my receiver, will the batshare function properly by only using the one power lead to my receiver and leaving the other power lead disconnected?

Use any free port for the second wire into the receiver. You can use the sbus or sbus 2 port also.

Agreed...use any available open port. If your Rx is full....use a Y harness to plug both the bat lead and the servo in together

Just concerned about warning about not connecting the battery into any other port.

Dave, the power input can go into any servo port.

Yeah I was confused by that wording in the manual as well. I think they meant to say not to plug the battery directly into the receiver but rather use a power supply connector, AKA a switch

Then it goes on to say:

“The receiver power supply can be connected to any port”

On all Rx's, the positive powerbuss ties into each channel on the red wire. The negative powerbuss ties into each channel on the black wire.

So, any open port on the Rx can be used to power the Rx.

the spectrum ps receivers cannot be powered through the servo ports.
