1. typhoon 15 Amp sensorless is not suitable for lithium batteries 2. connect the battery to the esc and get one beep 3. if you have connected the receiver also you will get another double beep 4. when disconnecting the battery from the controller wait at least 10 seconds before reconnecting or else you will go into programming mode 5. set your throttle travel adjust to 100% on your radio 6. set the trim on your radio to low 7. move the throttle stick to low 8. connect the battery and it should work 9. if not disconnect, reverse the throttle in the radio and try again 10.check that the wire going from the speedy to the receiver is around the right way 11. the orange wire is signal, try reversing it in the receiver. If this fails, borrow another speedy from someone and try. The crystal needs to be JR, just take the plastic off it and tape in place on the receiver.... Barrie |

Re: New to foam HELP ME..
Thanks mate,
I tried everything you said and nothing worked. I the went and bought a new ESC (18Amp LSE brushless controller) I don't know anyone who has on to borrow. Anyway I tried again and the same thing happened at first. Then it decideed to run slowly for 5 or 6 seconds as I moved the throttle to full. But the motor got extremely hot when this happened. Makes me think the motor is stuffed. Can you recomend a budget power system based around the LSE controller for this thing. And where do I get it from. I've had enough and I'm sending the ultrafly motor and typhoon esc back to modelflight. Here's a few pics of it: |

Re: New to foam HELP ME..
The line of motors from ultrafly are interesting little buggers, they draw high amps with any prop over 10x4. Try a small prop before you jump to the axi. The axi is your best bet but a couple tries with smaller props wouldn't hurt.

Re: New to foam HELP ME..
Well after much stuffing around with Model Flight in South Oz.
![]() ![]() I am ordering the motor (axi 2208/34) and speedy (jeti Advance 18 3P) from www.eflypower.com. I have a 3 cell 1050mAh pack, will that be ok to use with a 10x4.7 prop?? The pack is rated at 15C continuous discharge, and 20C burst. |
