King Cobra

I'm looking for an old set of planes from the eighties that was in either RCM or RC modeler. I believe it was called the King Cobra. It was a Mustan Fuse with twin Gull wings. I have looked in the archives of both magazines but have found nothing to this point any help would great.

Thanks in adavance.

Re: King Cobra

I believe you might be looking for the "Cobra" from Model Airplane News plans. Try this link -- http://media.radiocontrolzone.com/ma...GuidePDF-3.pdf and search for "Cobra".

If that doesn't work , just go to the MAN site, Model Plans page, download their plans-guide .pdf file and search for Cobra.

Hope that's what you're looking for --

Good luck,

BJH

The "King Kobra" was a SIG kit, it was a sport-pattern type plane from the 80's. Great flying plane, but wouldn't survive today's standards for pattern.

Re: King Cobra

I ordered plans for the Cobra through RCM about 13 or 14 years ago as I remember it. I had to call them and ask for the plans by aircraft name because they were not offered in the magazine.

Wow. Brings back memories. I too bought those plans. Never built one and threw the plans away a long time ago. Still is a neat looking plane.

Hey Bob, what engine was in that one, and do you have any idea of its whereabouts now? Also can you find out about the one that may be around here you told me about.
