He thought it would be a good will kinda gesture......but then he mentioned that evil word....liability.....so I dont know where they're going to go with it.
Like I said, I should know something today or tomorrow. I'll post here as soon as I find out.

Well...as suspected...the long delay in my company getting back to me was not good news.....they say the facility can only be used for official company business. So I guess we are back to square one.....or headed to Wennachie....sorry guys (and girls).

OK, plan B. I checked Denny's in Wilsonville; I now have a room booked for 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. The cost is $75, however, any food that is ordered is applied to that. So.... if 18 guys each order a $8 lunch (example), we have easily met the minimum. There is a mandatory 18% gratuity added to each check due to the large group. You can even order breakfast AND lunch if you want. I would assume it's BYOC for lunch/breakfast. Maybe we can score some complimentary coffee in the morning.

I think this would be easy because we wouldn't have to depart for lunch. We would just give the server a time to check on us (11:30 for example); place our food orders and keep schooling.

This is the last ditch, best effort and it's either Wilsonville, Wenatchee, or nothing for a judging school. Please respond with thoughts.

Here is the summary.

Oregon Judging School
Date: March 31, 2012. (Sat)
Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Willsonville Dennys
Address:
30175 SW PARKWAY AVE
WILSONVILLE, OR97070

Requirements: Need to have at least 15 pre-registered when it hits the IMAC site schedule.
Other Requirments: The entire crew must purchase at least $75 of food (from Denny's) in order to get the room charge waived.

I'll be contacting Keith in the next few days to get it finalized and put on the schedule.

It will be good for pilots of all skill levels......It is not only a class that teaches "judges" what to look for....it also shows the pilot how to properly fly the maneuver. Also, if you fly in a contest....it is generally assumed that you will also be tasked with judging your fellow pilots (Basic pilots are usually asked to judge the Sportsman class). The more you know about how to properly fly the maneuver and the point deductions associated with it.....the better pilot will become of you (said with a bad Yoda accent...)
