Help!
Scale Parts Sourcing 1/4 Scale Cub

I just picked up a 1/4 scale clipped wing cub. I'm not sure who the manufacturer is but the airframe is in great shape and freshly covered in Oratex cloth. What I do need is sources for new windows, scale faux engines, maybe a cowling, and functional landing gear. Who uses what and from what source? Thanks guys. Pics forthcoming.

Pics,

As you can see, the previous owner did a great job covering this plane in Oratex, he opted to paint the windows black instead of replacing it them with new. I'll be stripping them off and adding new ones. I would like to find a set that fits but I'm not scared to make my own. And the wire landing gear needs to go.

Does look a little like the Sig cub i have, But could any make really there all pretty similer.

Fiberglass Specialties do a Sig cowl with build in dummy engines, That could be an option, Ask Craig there and they can give you some sizing etc to make sure it will fit.

Robart will do scale gear if you after them

Windows, Yeah that gonna be a job that you will have to do, Normally on the plans they have templates,

Needs wing strut

*THE* website for all thinks scale Piper Cub is the Cub Den: http://www.thecubden.org/
Anything and everything you might need is probably there. I used his folding struts plan to modify my Sig 1/5 and it works great.

For the scale engine - cubden has plans, or you can buy a laser cut kit for a scale continental here: http://www.topnotchkits.com/index_files/TN_Kit11.htm
(I would email first and verify they are still in business!)

Landing gear from Robart.

Replacement cowlings from Fiberglass Specialties

If you want to add rib stitching, this product gets it done fast:
