Sure Tom, just what I need, to have to buy another motor off ya. LOL

Don't waste your time, just get a DA150, they have the best service and they make the best 150.

Re: DA150 Alternatives?

I have read all the posts on this question and have the following advice....I recently purchased a used plane package that came with a 3W 150QS engine. From the get go, the engine was not as represented. I removed the cylinders and found mucho scoring beyond repair. I sent engine to local factory service(West Coast) and now have an additional $650 into motor....still no go....removed cannisters and went with new Johnson Mufflers...another $165 into motor....motor now on test stand and still not well.

Advice....I once posted on Cirkus that at some point in time, one will need service...if so and when, where will it come from and how much faith and confidence will you have in the support? We have always flown DA motors...gas and go...gas and go....now having to deal with a foriegn made motor with questionable support.....so make your choice based on support.!,

Re: DA150 Alternatives?

Read my post above......THAT is the only way you know you are getting what you paid for in a used motor. Scoring has nothing to do with the brand of the motor, it only represents the person caring for it.

Hey Tom!! What about me, over here on the East Coast?? I thought when you get out of the big "Sand Pit," finally, I would fly out and we were going to teach them NON-HUCKMEISTERS a thing or 2??? I hope that you don't mind a little paint missing on the rudder of your Extra?? It would be from scrapin' it in a INVERTED HARRIER!! *BFG* I forgot, you fly on grass..... Ahh, well, how about a color change............

Later!!

Chris~
