It looks like the bore is the same as the DLE-120, but the stroke is a little longer. That obviously means a different crank, rods, and probably a new crankcase. The port timing would be different so the jugs would change as well.

More information on the DLE130

DLE130 test, 1500m above sea level. 106" Edge 540 Demonstrator.Falcon carbon fiber propeller constant ground heat stable speed:
27 X 11, 7200rpm
28 X 10, 6900rpm
28 X 11, 6400rpm
29 X 9, 6700rpm
And, three blade 25x12, 6500rpm

Not too bad for close to 1 mile above sea level.. that's Denver's altitude.

The compression ratio is also up, which is good.

If assuming the same port timing as the regular DLE120, it should prove to be a pretty good stump puller of an engine. Bigger props in the sweet spot of where we like to fly.

Hey, seeing is believing and I'm seeing a lot of out dated,no parts available DLE 120's in the near future for sale.

12 to 13 oz heavier than the 120. Will that 1 extra horsepower and design changes make up for the extra weight?

Been running a DLE 120 all season in a Ziroli Corsair swinging a Falcon 27 x 12 carbon 2 blade. I guess the engine is really breaking in and making a ton of power, especially with the cool air now since it is ripping the holy hell out of the prop straight and level. Iíve got to find a good 3 blade to quiet it down, but I really dont want to lose any performance. Any reccomendations?
Iíve been researching but cant really land on any thing.

Thanks

You are always going to loose performance from 2 to 3 blades props. On my DLE 120 I used a Mejzlik 25x12s 3 blades. Nice sound, plane feels more locked in but not the same power when I was useing Mejzlik 27x12TH 2 blades prop.
Plane H9 Extra 300 35% 12k weight. Only IMAC.
