I know this is kind of a dead thread at this point, but maybe someone's still subscribed??

I just put togethor an Outlaw with a Webra .36 and a Macs tuned pipe
On acceleration it tends to climb fairly sharply.
Is this normal? Should I put some down thrust in it?
It's balanced right in the middle of the range given in the directions

I am sure all the key players are still watching this thread...

As for your question, I would say yes.

I have a OS 32 on mine and for it to track a horizontal and vertical straight line I had to add both down & right shims to my engine.

No kit, you can buy an arf from extreme flight or just find you a set of plans and cut out the parts. There are not many parts to it at all. You will end up with more wood on the floor than in the airplane.
