Cool
SMJ Spinners

Hey guys, I just discovered SMJ spinners. These things are hand made carbon spinners with really nice CNC machined, lightened aluminum backplates. Nice stainless hardware with nylon washers included. What makes the SMJ spinner special? The shape accurately mimics a full scale aerobatic spinner. Look at a full scale aerobat, the spinners look much different than a pointy aerodynamic cone. The reasoning is that an aerobatic propeller (constant speed) has counterweights that can not be concealed by a tiny spinner.
What SMJ has done is bring that full scale look to our model world with a high quality, hand made, lightweight carbon fiber spinner.

Before, stock china carbon spinner;

After, spiffy SMJ carbon spinner;

Another;

Wow,

I wasn't expecting all this! Donnie, I just finished painting yours, it looks ok if you runs, drips, and fish eye, heheheh. I am bringing it up to triple tree for you. The bad news is my son has a tennis tourney this weekend so we won't be flyin, but I need a motorcycle ride so I will see you this weekend.

Thanks for the great comments guys, Tony, what's with the white? Are you color blind?just kidding. These spinners are 5" (only), they will NEVER be center bolted!!!!!!

I am not going to mass produce these, I will try to fill as many orders as time allows, as they say quality takes time, and these are of the HIGHEST quality so it takes several days for me to get them from start to finish.

If you guys are interested in getting more details, feel free to e-mail me or call me 678-794-1585.

Thanks,
Steve johnston

Steve,

I tried to send you an email and it came back as undeliverable. My question was, if you are able to fabricate a 5'' spinner with a custom backplate for a reasonable price? The backplate should have a 1 inch "sleeve" like shown in the attached pics. The spinner and and the backplate should be painted in red (HANU866).
