I think he was just saying that a friend that flys in the IAC said they follow this rule? Not specifically to IMAC.

hey guys.. 2 of us were planning on heading up Friday night for this but with a 2.5 hr drive and work 6 is not doable.

What time does the contest start anyhow? Maybe we will just head down Sat. morning then.

I imagine registration is at 8:30, flying starts at 9, or just slightly after.

Guys, not sure what was finally decided on this but as it turns out I won't be able to make the judging discussion on Friday night. See you on Saturday.

We'll try for around 6 or 7 pm depending on how many we folks wanting to participate can make it by then. It starts getting dark a lot sooner this time of the year.

See everyone tomorrow.

We'll try to make it as soon as we can. If we're not there by 6, start without us. You never know about traffic. Looking forward to the weekend!!

Vinny,

I did go up to mess around and help out where I could and I gotta admit that considering the conditions the scores were pretty good. Yep, there was loads of really strange winds

Tony,

Here is the link to the 2007-2008 judging guide that I promised you

http://www.thehiddenhangar.com/imac/scaleaerobatics.pdf

To everyone at the meet is was great seeing you all again and sorry to the guys that wanted a chance to kick my butt and my hats off to everyone that dealt with the winds and even though I did not make it to the judging school, my thanks to all those that took time to sit with me and go over a few things

I can't wait to see the final scores

Re: Semi-formal Imac mini-judging seminar--Friday evening--Water Gap Contest

I just want to say thank you to those that worked hard on making this past weekend at the Delaware Water Gap meet great fun and a successful meet. Despite the weather on Saturday morning, we got quite a bit of flying in. As Bill said, it was great seeing everyone and I look forward to next years contests.

Bill, thanks for the info.
