Question
What is everyone using to refuel their Gas planes?

I need to get a new gas can /pump.

I'm curious what Everyone is using these days? I have some 50cc up to 150cc so would need one big enough for a few hours at a field for at least the largest one. One that is well equipped and easy to use and less strained but safe. (Electric may not be)

Post some pics. And or links where to buy.

I have gas and kero setups from RC Fueling Systems, I fly all the time, like 2 or 3 days a week and most weekends and they have been holding up well for 2 years or so.

I'm using cans from Jersey Modeler (http://www.jerseymodeler.com). This season I acquired a 40% plane for IMAC with 68oz of fuel, and I upgraded to an electric pump. With a good LIFE, I can go weeks before needing any form of charge.

I have 2 electric fueling cans (plus a couple of manual pump ones as well)

  1. Home-built unit with a 2 gallon Midwest tank, Facet 12V automotive fuel pump (1 direction), 4S1100 A123's for power, safety hooded switch, and Slimline F1 fueler fittings. The Facet pump primes and lifts fuel better than the Greylor.
  2. A modified Abell RC 2.5 gallon fueling tank with the popular Greylor pump, the Dubro fitting in the cap replaced with a Slimline F1 fueler fitting in the cap and a pickup line directly into the jug. Powered by 2S2600 Lion Fromeco pack

Also try the search function and you'll get more info then you can read in a night...
Good luck with it.
