Ok I was serious when I said scale. I have spent 18 hours over the past 2 days making and prefitting the panels. 188!!!!!!!!! Button srews with about 30 more togo. I most say im proud of this job. Not to sure it was going to come out this good. Now I have to make all final adjustments and remove each screw and then cover the plane then reconstruct the panels and put back in 220 screws. I think after doing this I have a screw loose. My hat is off to all those scale builders out there. This is why we made ARFS. Afte rits all said and done I sure hope it flys great. Or maybe Ill park it for another 20 years lol..

Hey guys anyone know if "Novus" scratch remover works on canopys and is it worth buying. Got just a couple of scratches I need to buff out of the pitts.

Re: Andy Sheber 33% S2A Pitts resurrection for Dad

Why Arfs are so popular? I could have built 10 in the time I have invested in this truely great project. One thing for sure, the satisfaction of seeing this come together is truely awesome. I almost will hate to fly it but is it dosn't fly what good is it. 18 hours on sheet metal and 200 screws and 100 more togo when they arrive. 10 hours on the scale tale wires, what a joy. The cool thing is there is a light AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL. Hope you enjoy the continued thread and sorry for the long wait but have been working at my job longer then I wish to. But its all worth it to bring the beast back to life so my Dad can see it fly again.

John

John, great project. I started building the Andy Sheber about 4 months ago. No plans just scratch build project. Mine is about a month away from test flight. I am going with a Red Bull scheme. All red Pitts with the Word Red Bull in white outline.

Keep up the great work

Tony
