Why not just put a shim behind the back plate to push the spinner out a bit?

It seems people are having variable results on muffler fitment. On mine with the Jtec compact Slick mufflers they do not hit the cowl. I am using the thin shim on the mount also. I tried without the shim first and the spinner was touching the cowl.

Installing the Loudenslager graphics tonight from Cali. Good quality decals. It seems to me that the large Bud Light and multi colored logo are the correct size but I feel that all the other decals are a tad on the small size. It's looking good regardless. I could possibly have it ready to maiden this weekend but might wait until next weekend.

Had a lot of fun yesterday at my club's open house flying my XPWR Laser alongside cherrybomb48's DA70 powered Laser.

I had to put in a larger fuel tank as the 17oz that I tried first was dangerously low at 8 minutes. I found a 24oz fiji bottle and now she runs 12 minute flights with plenty to spare. The DA70 is definitely more thirsty then I remembered from it's last airframe however that plane had a huge 32oz tank in it. Still need to do a few tweaks to the mixes and maybe add another 1/2oz to the tail but overall it's pretty dialed in and I'm liking it more and more.

I've been learning rollers on my super slow flying profiles for the last few months so I wasn't sure what to expect with the rifle rolling laser. Turned out the plane is very forgiving and controllable throughout the roll. I did flying rollers at 40% low rate and got a few all the way around while harrier rollers at full rates made 3/4 around before I bailed. For me that's a great day!

I almost forgot, It took me a while to figure out what she wants to enter the KE spin but once there it looks like a gyroscope out of control. Made me a little worried about the airframe spinning that fast but very impressive nonetheless. Odd thing was it spun faster and fell flatter with only 1/4 power. Just a great day with the laser.

Had a great time with the Laser in Knoxville this weekend while attending the House Mountain fly in. Thanks Mark for the pic with Jeremy and the Lasers, and for the advice on LiPo placement. Great meeting you!

House Mountain

I had a great time this past weekend at House Mountain, too. I didn't fly the Laser until Sunday, but I pretty much had the field to myself.

I thought the factory graphics where a little small and I honestly don't like the "sticker" look to them. I was pleased with what I finally decided to do....

Well this caught me off guard. Apparently it's a pre-production model being well rung out.

KevinK, you are correct that is actually my plane and it is 1 of only 2 that exist, Chris Hinson has the other one. I took it to Hoverpalooza 2 weekends ago and let Jase fly it so we could get some awesome video. This plane is amazing and will make anyone a happy owner when it becomes available, and no I don't know when it will be available.

I'm running 2x - 840gram - 6200mah sets in my Laser comfortably. Feel these hit the sweet spot for time and weight on the Laser.

I've also run 2x 1150gram 8000mah sets and it did perform well, just preferred the 6200mah packs when low n slow. The 8000mah would be great for IMAC flying IMO.
