You better know it!!! Blah Blah Blah is worthless without video. I plan to test with Cowl mufflers, Pro Flow Canisters and my new prototype "Smooth Pipes"
I have a feeling that these engines will sell out faster than EF planes..LOL and that's fast. I'm not going to accept any pre pays but it would be a good idea to E Mail me if you would like to be on a "First to be contacted list" planebender@sbcglobal.net

This mention of "Smooth pipes" has peaked my curiosity

What's that about

I currently have a Da60, and an EME 60 on the way.
I think I might have to put my name down for the GP61.

Looks like my EF 91 Extra is going to busy testing all these engines

I understand guys, I will ask Fergie and let you know. Although it won't be a huge reduction of price as the engine is sold as a package.

Funny comparison, You can tell McDonalds to "Hold the cheese" on one burger and put extra cheese on your other burger and they charge you for it. What that has to do with Mufflers I have no idea. LOL

Why not two optional packages.

1) GP Engine with std muffler
2) GP engine with header and tuned pipe. The Header type SDS sells is fully adjustable. I'm sure GP engines can design something similar for their engines.

Noise is always an issue. it just takes one neighbour to complain and an entire rc airfield needs to coform to noise regulations. This is an area where a proactive approach from engine suppliers and exhaust manufacturers would be very handy

i dont want to toot furgies horn but....dave introduced me to him at joe nall. we met fergie, his dad and mom. his dad sat with us many times over the week picking our brains and listened to our suggestions. i am not a da fan boy. i fly dle. i WILL however switch as soon as the 123 is ready. knowing what has been discussed and knowing what i do about whats going on in the background gives me full confidence in their product. sometimes i take people the wrong way and i only hope pe"s comments were positive and not synical. i apoligize in advance if i took them wrong. these people are proud and will only do things 100%.

i feel the engine manufacture should sell engines and after market companies sell exhaust systems. this way we get the best of both worlds as each is a specialized product in itself. when you have a cross relationship with each other each can bring the best to the table.

its been proven that integration can deliver better results.
There is always a market for aftermarket components but I much prefer components that have been developed to work specifically with the engine.
sort of the genuine part vs generic

the only canister that i know of that does a better job of making HP vs a after market is the MVVS3204 canister.the only other one i would use is the TC60 from JBM,the TC stands for tuned canister. it likes a short header too, and it's not to bad of price at 114.00 shipped to the US.
