New Release Date
I have an Inverza 62 on Order. Checked in with Horizon today and was told expected ship date is now late August/early September.
More wait time....................... |

I noticed the EFI has been pushed back a number of times as well. Advantage hobby says July 20th now. Seems like a common theme from the industry especially with ARFs this season.

Inverza 62s have arrived at Horizon, they are just waiting to be inspected and then everything prepared to begin shipping them out. Should go out later this week if there's not any issues with the QA of the model. An issue with our system is that it automatically shows the date the next shipment is coming in once a shipment arrives. Since the first shipment has not been QA'd, it shows up here, but is not put into stock so the date defaults back to the next shipment, which happens to be September. Hope this helps. There you go Rob! Maybe you'll have this thing by the next time I'm home. I'm curious to see this thing fly. |

I think I asked this question on another thread, but I don't remember which thread it was so here goes:
What separates this from a Sukhoi? I'm sure there are differences but the profile seems very similar to me. |

Here comes my Inverza 62
All Right!
Got an email from Horizon today saying my Inverza 62 is shipping. Surprise, surprise, surprise. The Evolution 62 EFI is slated for mid to late July. I'll start putting the plane together, but I'll wait for the engine, rather than slap a DA 50 on it to try it out. Meanwhile, my H9 Carden Extra 300 is flying fine. |

I have not been notified my Inverza 62 is shipping yet but I hope it will be on the way soon. So to kick it off, I will start a build thread and ask anyone who is building one or is interested to join in and make the Inverza build a fun event. Bill

I do not think anyone will be interested in my build because I will be using batteries and
receiver I had in a 35%er I lost some time back. I will be using (testing) large servos from Pilot RC. Basically everything will be way more than what’s needed for this size model. I will be changing to DMSS in the future and don’t want to buy any new DMSX receivers. I’m more interested in the Evolution 62 EFI engine that the Inverza 62 is designed to use. If the Electronic Fuel Injected engine works well my hope is there will be a migration to the 120cc and 170cc size engines. When and if that happens I will have at least some experience with EFI before putting it in a 40% plane. |

The build thread I started on FG is named "Hangar 9 Inverza" as I forgot to include the 62 as part of the title. I got my Model Aviation today too and the cover looks great.
