Re: SE IMAC Competition Thread

Thanks for the observations Mark. My 37.25 lbs Dalton 300 went around the circle with the greatest-of-ease and it was a joy to see it floating through it. The RE3 tuned pipes seem to have a more consistent midrange than my previous Greve setup, so the plane is not coming on/off the pipe all the time. I currently have a 32x10 on it, but should receive the new "Mac-Daddy" prop - the Mezjlick 30x13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This should be slippery fast AND QUIET.... mmmmmmm I like that !! Jim

I looked at the 30X13 at the Nall and almost bought one. Let me know how you like it on the 170.

OK Mike - I should have it in the air this weekend. I have not seen the blade yet, only heard about it from Tony so I bought it. More pitch and a shorter blade is the way I want to go with props.

Mark, what new plane are you flying? Did you confiscate Chandley's new 300? Or did you finally stop building other people's planes and build one for yourself?

Pete,
Mark is flying my back up Cam McCausey built 300. He has his 150 and cannisters in it.
I have not put it on the scales but I would guess 36lb range.
For all Mark does for others I thought it would be nice to do something for him for a change.
As long as my plane is flightworthy he has a plane to fly. Now if I can get him to stay away from mine with that GREMLIN hehehe

Hey VA boys... I'll be in Charlottsville, VA, with the wife lady Saturday for the dog show up there.

I know it is near Farmington... anyone want to practice Saturday afternoon?

She shows in the morning so I have the afternoon free. I just thought about bringing up the trailer and going flying after.

Anyone in?
