That's JKE graphic, not JEK. This new logo was created after my father retired a few years ago. We honor him as the founder by keeping the initials of the old company name in the new name JKE Works, Inc.

My plan is to install a DLE 130, it is heavier than the GP 123 by around 300gms but if I can install the rudder servo in the tail, I may be able to partially offset the additional nose weight due to heavier engine. Has anyone tried a DLE 130 on this plane?
Few months late, doing some back reading. Did you get around to installing a 130? Both the Mamba 120s in our field fly with a 130 using a push-pull for the rudder. Batteries on the tray where the Aura also sits. I'm thinking of moving the batts back a bit on mine. Falcon spinner and Falcon 29x10.

Just a bit bummed there's no carb repair kit for the 130. And can't seem to find a Walbro counterpart that'll fit without issues. So a new carb is necessary should the time come.

Canister install with smoke pre heat

Anyone else having heat issues with the cans. I followed the directions. Still seams a little warm. Cans on other planes have always been insulated from fuselage with a box and vents right below the cans not under the turtle deck???

I take the canopy off after the flight and use fans in the intakes to cool off the engine.

Any air outlets on the bottom of the fuselage?

I agree with both the above. I will add that as long as you do have a cutout/vent on the bottom of the fuse there will not be much heat build up when the engine is running and moving thru the air as it gets swepped out. The heat you feel is only when you sit after a flight and like it was already said, take the canopy off after landing. This should keep your equipment safe.

Mamba 120 Longevity

I have both the 70cc and the 120cc. I bought the 70cc when it first appeared for sale at Joe Nall just about 5 years ago. It has been an absolute star, the mist durable ARF, and I believe the best all round airplane I have ever flown. I have a Mamba 120 with about 100 flights, and my experience has been exactly the same. I use DA Motors with DA/Slimline Exhaust. Thx
