cub crafters 100-200 cc

I just got the big cub crafters 100-200 cc and desided to go with the 222 4 cyl eng. The engine box needs about 2 3/8 taken out of it, has anyone done this yet? I have my ideal but maybe someones got a better way to go about this.

Ali stated he was building a version with the DLE-222. You might ask him.

cutting down a firewall is not big deal witih something like the 222. I did it for a Pilot Decathlon.
Because you adjust the length of your standoffs it isn't difficult to get good cowl alignment . If you are measuring 2 3/8 I would go at least 2 1/2" to have some wiggle room.

the mounting pattern is a simple rectangle 80mm (b) x 90mm (h).

have fun!
