Re: Planes for 2009?

Nope....

Been kinda busy lately to finish it. All I have to do is make a mount for the royal and check the balance. I have ran the engine and if this DA170 is anything like it felt against the back of my legs on the ground then I won't need the pipe.

I flew it last year at Lums Pond for a flight when he had the ZDZ 160 in it and it was decent, didn't like the way it snapped so I added the 3rd aileron servo as he only had 2 per aileron in it. I'm hoping to get away with one servo per elevator though

Still flying my battered, overweight, abused, yet trusty 3.1m SuperXtra. Building a Carden 126" 300, and just bought an old (but NIB) 3.0m CompARF 330S. May switch my gear out of the SX into the 3.0m, who knows. Right now I'd just be happy to be home and fly some.

Bill,

That 3rd servo will make a big difference, The ailerons are big and the mechanical advantage of the 3rd servo usually makes a big difference
