Re: Imac Round 4 Waharoa
We've given up trying to organise events before January these days -- the weather from October through to the end of December is just so *bad*.
Mind you, having said that, the turbine SIG *always* get perfect weather and that was the case for their meeting at the beginning of this month. How do they do it? |

Re: Imac Round 4 Waharoa
Good job Alan! So what kind of plane is the Guzzler flying? Don't recognize it. I bet you guys had a pretty good time even with the rain. Keep up the good work and keep us up to date with what's going on down there. Cheers! Biff

The Guzzler is flying an MX2. Started life as a Giles 202 about 29%, built from 3views by Graeme. Made plug and molds, vac bagged fuse with klegicell core just like a comp arf with foam wings and stabs. He then made an Extra wing for it, walla-an MX2. Powered by 3W 60-k2 with home made exhaust and Bolly prop, flies bloody well. Next pic is Adam Butlers PBG 260, Da 150 with Mej 30 x 12. Also the rainy day came in handy with an impromptu Judging discussion and training afternoon presented by Bogan. |
