The CB200 come with either a magnetic or R3 for the switch....
Never tried the regular switch on mine’s I used the r3 exclusively on all of mine. If the switch is removed while power up they stay power up.....99% sure on this....never tested that sort of thing..... |

No. Typically you will use two receivers with the CB200 for “dual path” and then either the magnetic switch it comes with OR a third R3 (which can be ordered all together as a CB200 and 3x R3) for the wireless switch to turn the unit on/off.

yes, it definitely is a safe switch. If that 3rd receiver gets unplugged, then radio stays turned on. (Ive tested that!)

I bought a carbon black DS16 2 months ago and love how the entire transmitter is customizable and programmable. Also. Kinda dig all the machining involved it it. Almost no plastic parts

hello Wayne
thank you When I went to advanced properties >>>> wireless mode it states 24 channel MULTIMODE active but, if I plug a servo and I tried different servos too into plugs 17 thru 24, and assign those to some function 'I get no response out of the servo ' even if go to servo setup and make the movement or switch, it appears to move, but the servo does not |

Ok. What are you using for receivers, R3/RSWs? If so, what firmware version are they running ? I assume it's V3.25 which is required for 24 channel support. If so try another receiver and map one of it's ports to channel 17 and see if a servo connected to that port operates properly. If is does that indicates your transmitter is sending 24 channel data and the problem is in your CB400. I assume the transmitter is actually sending all 24 channels but it's possible there could be data corruption for that model memory that is preventing 24 channel data from being transmitted. If it sends data (with that model memory selected) to another receiver on channels > 17then that isolates the problem to the CB400. Which firmware version are you running on your DC24 ? Did you recently upgrade it ? If so, are you sure you have the latest CB400.bin file ? If all else fails, I'd try a reset to default for the CB400 and see if that helps. It seems kind of unlikely to be a hardware failure of the CB400 related to channels 17 and above but I guess it's possible. Is this a new CB400 ? What firmware version on the CB400 ? If the CB400.bin file and the CB400 firmware version don't match that will cause issues. |
