Recently was in a game where I was full build with extra 3-5k gold. I bought the red potions, but I still had a lot of gold. So if you were in this situation, what do you generally swap out stuff for? Thanks for your time guys.

How well does the smoke work with the mid header smoke nozzle mount?

I have them on all my Acro’s and bipes. They have been great wheels with no issue at all. I have them on 30%, 3 x 35%, 41% and my Mamba 70.

Ok, I have been out of the saddle for last 4 weeks with Corona and just got my mojo back. I have been dragging my feet with this build, but need to wrap it up before I start on my CARF Strega.

Just got my DA headers this afternoon which I will use with MTW110’s.

Question for those of you running the DLE 222, can you post a pic of your throttle servo setup? Trying to figure the best way and looks like I have limited options.

Thanks...

MP

Started working on the baffles, what a pain to get them cut out and fitted. I will cut and fit the sides to the lower cowl this afternoon and then finish out the top to creat a boxed baffle.

A little more progress. Baffles are done, throttle linkage is done, fuel and smoke tanks are mounted, headers and cans test fitted. Wrapped up the temp telemetry this afternoon and will get the ignition mounted along with the Smoke plumbing.

Taking a little longer than anticipated. The baffles slowed me down...

Definitely excited to get started on mine. It should be arriving within a week or two.

A little progress today. I got the new choke arms so was able to get the throttle and choke linkages done along with the curves set in the radio. Started to get the wiring cleaned up, looks much neater. I will finish that along with the final smoke and fuel plumbing once the header extensions get in.

Not much left... Weather looks good this weekend so a maiden is within reach....

The semi-split cowling on Krills makes absolutely no sense....everything you wish to gain access to is below the baffling! Still have to pull the prop to remove lower cowl.....duh!

Thought I would share the new smoke pump mount that I 3D printed from thingiverse. Makes installation a snap and looks pretty cool.

On the Krills, I always mount the pump under the fuel/smoke tank cradle. Easy access from the can opening and makes for a clean instal.

I will finish the final mounting/plumbing tomorrow after the header extensions arrive....
