MonoKote Cleaner Polish Alternative

I've been using the cleaner polish from MonoKote for 10+ years. I tried to reorder some of it online today and I've realized that it has been discontinued. Does any one know of any alternatives for this cleaner polish? The one from MonoKote worked really well on all of my planes and I hope that there is something out there that is equally as effective.

I remember way back that I used simple green for some time but then switched over to the MonoKote stuff. I just bought some Meguiars from the auto store and I'll give it a shot next time at the field.

Hi Victor.
Just spray some on the wings & Fuselage . then wipe it dry with a Microfiber cloth. You will like the finish .

I caught that other thread linked above and Marvan's post within, and I bought some of that exact Maguiars polish... and use a micro-cloth, and I know I'm very pleased with the results. Thanks Marvan, that's a great tip.

Anyone else that hasn't tried it, you really have to give it a try. It's simple and quick, and really does a great job.

So although the 'original' monokote cleaner is gone it looks like there are quite a few alternatives to try.....outstanding to see FG members reaching out to each other!

Hi Van,
I'll give that a try. I'm really curious to see how this will compare with the MonoKote cleaner.

Definitely another option. Looks like something that again can be purchased at most automotive stores.

I after trying some car products, I settled on Aerocosmetics:

Wash-wax-all for regular use.
Wash-all for extra dirty and oily.

Good value if you buy the concentrate!!
