That will be plenty you only need half of that to torque
But i run 20Kg Savox 1256's in my 30cc Edge 540, But i had a view to move them into bigger planes at a later date once i move on from the edge. Else i would have used much smaller. |

Like Hodge said you can always use that servo when you move up to bigger planes. I feel like as long as you are not giving up speed for torque use as big a servo as you can afford. I use Savox 1232s in all my planes, good servos and very reasonable.---Smitty

Sorry, hate to go against the grain, but that servo is nearly 3x the size of a conventional standard size servo. It is absolutely not needed for a 30cc airplane, and adds unnecessary weight. The attached photo shows the HS-5745MG case size compared to a standard size servo.
For your application, I would urge you to use a coreless digital at the minimum. I tend to recommend people use an overkill servo because the performance they offer gives problem free usage over the years. I'll suggest the Hitec D954SW for your application. |

standard size servos work just fine... mini and micro would be a bit too small.. and a Seiko 105 is a bit too large and heavy
