Heli shaking with body kit installed

Hello everyone,

I have a Trex450 and just put a funky 450 MD500 body kit on it. Now when I start to spool it up about 1/4 to just under 1/2 stick, before the airframe becomes light on the skids, it starts to shuffle and shake excessively. Any advice to help eliminate this would be greatly welcomed. Pic would help immensely.
Note.. It flew flawlessly without the body kit.

You’ll have better luck asking over on helifreak.com

The fuse kit is adding weight. That will mean you need more pitch to lift off (or more headspeed). I’d guess your blades are too tight or your dampers are too hard. It might also be a resonance in the fuse at certain headspeed. I’d try raising or lowering your headspeed by 15% to see if that helps.

Back in the day I had a pod and boom X-cell that appeared to run smooth, then I put a fuselage on it and it shook. Found out my blade balance wasn't as good as I thought. Added a 1" strip of blade covering to the light blade and the world was right again. The fuselage can be magnifying a slight out of balance that was already there.
