I see said the blind man

The taller servos do fit in outbound ailerons and ever so slightly push on sheeting on topside. I went with it. Easy fix with lite ply spacers

yep, I have the MKS 777s which are also a "tall servo" and spaced them on the ailerons. I went with standard size on the rudder because they really stuck out. you could probably get away with a high torque single servo on the rudder.

I have a single 630 oz. Promodeler servo (about maybe 500+ oz) with my A123s
and it seems to be enough. I agree with these guys.....do it. You can add later if needed.

Side note.....I recall Jason Shulman telling me years ago he had 4 servos on his rudder and
when he added a fifth, it was finally enough for IMAC! Look how far servos have come!!

Sukhoi is going together very fast....only hiccup is wing and stab tubes are very tight and I mean very tight....this is a bummer and will cause delay ....other than that just need to program radio and dial in servos.
Hopefully a little sanding and cleaning and the wing and stab tubes will slide in like there supposed to.
I’m impressed with this kit so far............awesome
This plane is basically install servos ,receiver and engine and a few minor things and go fly.....👍👌😀

I have Savox 1270 all around in my H9 Sukhoi and I´m very happy with them running HV good speed and torque, 2 x aileron, 2 x rudder, 1 x single elevator, it´s a great choice for a fair price!

I am on my second Sukhoi, lost the first one to distraction during assembly. Failed to tighten horizontal stab screws.
I got that one in a trade and it had carbon fiber gear on it.
My replacement has the stock aluminum gear and I would like to replace it with carbon fiber. I see a lot of posts with picture of your planes with carbon fiber.
Just wondering if you are buying blank gear from "graph tech" or finished gear from other manufactures with holes drilled for mounting and axles. Any information would be appreciated.
BTW I have a DA 170/ RE3 (3) blade 28.5 X 12. I am really enjoying the performance and my ears don't bleed from ripping props.

3 flights today
Engine Temps ....270- to a high of 314 with no baffling
It feels very light with incredible vertical
Slightly nose heavy
Personally I love it with a DA150 on standard mufflers ...great sound and very fast....and the 150 is super smooth
Best advice I have gotten in al one time was the prop it rocks thanks !

Bought mine from Graphtec but looking at aluminum from TNT for the future. Graphtec was a blank gear no holes
