I think CG is about the only thing that will make any major difference with the DA215. The airframe is too floaty so an extra pound or two will make little difference.

I'd reach out to Andreas @ CARF and see what he says about the 215. I believe they opted for the ZDZ 195 on the prototype for a reason...

Having a heat wave out here got a little work done. Engine has been adjusted to perfection only took 🤪 6 test fits. Jeez im burned out. Not enough beer
Fuel lines installed
Throttle servo at home with hole for cf tube as guide on throttle (see hole in pic)
Servo trays waiting for parts. Using mks hubs and cf arms. Vent tube in place
Tomorrow i will cut cowl for muffs and start baffles
But no gurantee my ocd kicked in on the engine/cowl alignment and it took all day
Fn sweet plane i love it

I got them from bluebird. My friend I believe got them from Amazon.
also need the bushing for 3mm screw ? I did not use any bushing.
CG: 130mm behind the front end of the wing, measured outside on the wings.
what wheels did you use ?
4.5" lite wheels from sullivan. My friend used 4.5" skywing wheels from nwrc.
Guldukat , I posted this in the build thread for the revolution, fit is perfect

any one looking for the rubber grommets for the servo trays ? i found that the futaba a-700 servos have dual rubber that links the 2 holes together so these cant really be used , even the jr 8911's don't really fit the servo tray
managed to get them from Mouser.com
part number 5164-5104 rubber grommet 0.23c ea
part number 534-46 eyelet 0.087c ea

fit is perfect

Spencer is a team pilot for various companies. For Freestyle he flew a 35% plane. For IMAC he flew the 40% CARF Extra.
