Visiting New Zealand

Hi To the Kiwi Modelers
I will be visiting as a retirement present to me. Its been 20 years since my last visited. I see that I should be able to take in your nationals in January. When I lived in New Zealand did not travel to the South Island, which I will be doing on this trip.Have been looking at full size aircraft museum that I would like to visit on my travels. Spent many Saturdays at Dairy Flats working on full size aircraft I don't no if the CAF is still active, also had the opportunity to take a ride in a Tigermoth registratrion ZK-AUE.
Cheers Don Maclean

Hi Alex
Thanks for the reply, had a look at what would be in your area. Is the hanger that does restoration the Croydon Aircraft Company, if it is I will sure make an effort to visit. Again thanks for the reply.

Hi Don, if you are hoping to head for the Nationals, The Old stick and Rudder company is based at Hood aerodrome in Masterton (about 10 minutes drive away), Alternatively, as you head down the South Island I can recommend the Omaka museum in Blenheim for WW1 aircraft.

Hope you enjoy NZ, Graham
